Gorgeous old-fashioned bakers with a mouth-watering range of delicious cakes and pastries! I was spoilt for choice in there recently.
The cakes usually sold include cherry, Madeira, sultana, banana, lemon, carrot, ginger, plus border tarts; there are mainly kinds of scones fruit, cheese, treacle and soda for example. For bread there's wholemeal, granary, white, 'Moffat Tasty' to name but a few! There's a large range of handmade biscuits and muffins as well, including shortbread and parkins.
You can also buy milk and other drinks in the chilled cabinet.
Located in the main street so easy to find should not be missed!
